4. Maintain your weight – Obesity puts an added strain every organ in your body as well as your skeletal frame. Lighten your load for better health.

5. Keep stress down – Unmanaged stress levels and extreme anger can eventually cause a heart attack or stroke. Take time to yourself, breathe, meditate, eat well, and step away if something is frustrating you.

With statistics being the way that they are it is very likely that either you or someone you love with have to deal with heart disease in this lifetime. Being aware of the risks and things you can do to prevent it is key.
