Tampa cardio emotions have an effect on heart health

How are YOU feeling?

We all experience stress in our daily lives but when “stressed out” becomes your new normal its time to put your foot down and do something about it. Stress, unlike something such as genetics, is a controllable and manageable factor.

Life in 2021 is a roller coaster. There is so much going on worldwide, nationally, and personally for everyone it can feel like there is no time left for just enjoying life. We have to get away from that perspective for our own good.

While its important to know what’s going on in the world around you, you do not have to become absorbed into it 24/7. Turn off the news, put down the paper, and focus on things you can control – your life, your goals, your attitude, and doing things with people who make you feel good.

Every emotion carries with it a different feeling physically. When you are happy your body feels energized and lighter. When you are sad or depressed you may notice your posture even changes to a more withdrawn hunched over stance. You feel down, heavy, and awful. Don’t think for one moment this cant, in longer terms, carry over to your state of health and wellbeing.

On a metaphysical level – heart problems have been equated to a literal “squeezing the joy out of life” and an inability to really feel and accept love from others.

If you are having heart-based issues its very important of course to get yourself medically checked by a good cardiologist such as those on our wonderful staff here at Tampa Cardiovascular Associates, but also to take a good look at what’s happening around you. Who you choose to spend time with – friends, family, co-workers, and even acquaintances, can have an effect on your heart and your health. Choose people, places, and situations that make you feel good and let the rest fall away, being replaced with those that are better for you.

You only get one heart and one life.
Choose wisely and treat yourself well.
